The Chubby Dominatrix is an actress in John Waters' early movies named Edith Massey. My brother and I used to watch John Waters' movies when we were in our late teens and early 20's - hilarious stuff - but i recognized her immediately.
December 11, 2013 at 2:50 pm
Most of these photos were done on purpose to end up on funny sites. Except maybe the family in the homemade dresses that just had awful fabric. I have seen people do that and seriously think it's cute...
December 11, 2013 at 8:16 pm
Mark Blemler hatchet face ?? I thought it was but thought nah can't be LOL so awesome.

Terry Ann Hoehn-Stoll:
December 9, 2013 at 9:17 pm
For the record the photo with the little girl giving the bird belongs to MWD photography owned by Maggie Blaszczyk. People keep removing her logo and I feel she is OWED the credit for that photo. It has gone viral and she gets no credit for it
December 9, 2013 at 10:07 pm
not to mention that removing it is a federal offense
December 9, 2013 at 10:08 pm
Lida Verner yes totally for real...her company is MWD Photography you can see the ORIGINAL image on her page. You can also take a look on the internet she was even interviewed about the photo last year.
December 10, 2013 at 4:30 pm
Terry Ann Hoehn-Stoll I laugh because it has been said over and over once it is on the internet you lose all rights to that property. Thats funny.
December 10, 2013 at 5:53 pm
Not when the photo is copyrighted
Caroline Clark Martin:
December 10, 2013 at 7:36 pm
Christina Nix there is absolutely nothing true about your statement. Check your facts, and get acquainted with U.S. Copyright Law at http://www.copyright.gov. In summary, all photographs are copyrighted upon creation, and said copyright is owned by the original creator until 70 years after their death, unless specific release of copyright has been given. Period.
December 10, 2013 at 10:26 pm
Christina Nix just because it has been said, doesn't mean it's true.
December 10, 2013 at 10:30 pm
Kylie Higgins While you post the above links, keep in mind that NO ONE is claiming the pic no one is saying THEY did it when in fact it was not them that did it, and as far as the name or brand on the pic? It is all covered under the Fair Use exemption. Yep.
December 10, 2013 at 10:31 pm
The original picture has a copy right on it. Just by removing the copy write does not grant it as fair game. There are copy write laws for a reason
December 10, 2013 at 10:53 pm
Christina Nix Did you read the article? Professional photos ARE protected by copyright law. Event Google tells you that photos are subject to copyright law when you're in search mode.
December 10, 2013 at 10:55 pm
Robin Johnson Did neither of you read what I posted? You ask did I read yours, but you ignore mine. Typical. I am done. No need to comment with me anymore.
December 11, 2013 at 5:29 am
Christina Nix fair use doesn't cover removing a watermark and reposting everywhere. I did read your link, it was pretty specific about fair use and this isn't any of the conditions described. Reread your link that you keep pushing.
December 11, 2013 at 8:53 pm
Christina Nix You might want to read the full document you posted you understand what fair use entails. Read the 5 Things to Think About Before Using Copyrighted Images.
December 12, 2013 at 2:02 am
Christina Nix sorry you have no idea how wrong you are. You need to do your research. I am a photographer myself and it is illegal and against copyright violations to remove someone's watermark/logo from a picture. Regardless if you post it online, you do not lose your copyright to the photo. People like you are what causes this problem. Thinking that just because it is posted on the internet, it gives you the right to steal the photo and it doesn't. You cannot use a photographer's image without their permission or remove the logo. It is in violation of copyright laws and legal action can be taken and I know several cases where it has been and the photographer will win everytime.
December 12, 2013 at 2:04 am
Christina Nix no it is not covered under the fair use law!! It was not fair use. The photographer owns it and removing her watermark which is a form of editing a photographer's work without their permission is against the law, whether you agree or not I am sorry you are wrong.
December 12, 2013 at 2:11 am
Awesome, thanks for the info.
December 12, 2013 at 4:20 am
I don't think that is true at all. Especially a copyrighted image.
December 12, 2013 at 5:37 am
Christina Nix You're kind of an idiot!
December 12, 2013 at 1:37 pm
Christina Nix, sorry but you are wrong there. I't's called copyright protection. You don't lose any rights, just people think because it is on the internet they have free reign to abuse those rights, but they can be taken to court and have a DMCA filed against them and charged for violating copyright laws.
December 12, 2013 at 2:09 pm
It's nice of you to point that out, a lot of times when people share a photo, they really don't care about the credits, as a fellow photographer, I know it means the world just to have your work recognized, so thank you for your good deed
December 14, 2013 at 1:47 am
December 14, 2013 at 9:40 am
just a thought about y'alls little argument about the copyrights on that image from someone who used to make a living as a stringer for several different agencies. So someone owns the original image file. First, why is this really an argument? Someone shot the image. That person either sold or gave a hard copy or digital copy to a client. That client decided to share the image with their friends, family etc through social media. Displaying this image today on social media is pretty much the 21st century equivelant of hanging it on your fridge, mantle or wall (hence you post to your wall) in the 20th century. Cropping out a photographers name, watermark, etc would be no different than using a mat in a frame. No copyright nor watermark was removed by retouching or other malicious intent. Yea, as a photographer getting credited is awesome, but until someone starts intentionally making money by unauthorized use of a photo/digital file that they do not own the rights to, there really isn't a copyright violation. I.e., it is fair use which is what @Christina Nix was trying convey. And just a thought. While the original photographer owns the image, it does not nessecarily mean they have the right to publish them. (model release etc)
Rona E Philpott:
December 18, 2013 at 11:27 pm
Christina Nix - that is not true! The photographer had her copyright logo on it, and it was removed - VERY illegal!
December 19, 2013 at 1:57 am
Rich Peek....your point makes sense. However, the photo was not released to anyone in the family. The photographer was allowed to keep the photo for advertising.
December 19, 2013 at 4:23 pm
Somehow I do not think all you people saying it is illegal, and wrong are going to make it miraculously disappear from web pages. I wish I had time to spend hours just arguing points on the internet that will change nothing. Perhaps you can all go do something useful to society instead of hanging around on facebook complaining about fair use and copyrights.
December 9, 2013 at 3:20 pm
I thought the bulldog in the first pic was adorable.Guy on swing is hot, but that must have hurt like hell sitting on the tire. I also thought that the daddy in front of the fireplace and the two guys in wrestling masks were pretty hot.
December 9, 2013 at 5:47 pm
YOU are the hot one!
December 9, 2013 at 6:40 pm
Reyno Crescini Now, that's just inappropriate here. The poor guy is making a comment on some internet pictures and some San Francisco meat wagon is trying to pick him up.
